I was paddling with a friend yesterday in about 20 degree weather. He swears by the integral socks and I found my wetsuit booties were not quite good enough. I was worried about the durability of the socks, but then my ankle gasket blew as I was undressing. The latex gaskets are probably more delicate than the socks.
