Nick's book is about strip building kayaks, but it gives such detail and quality (and confidence) that it is well worth buying for any type of strip building. The shop techniques and tips are applicable to canoes (which are pretty close to kayaks anyway), and who knows?, maybe you'll decide to do a kayak instead or in addition to a canoe.
