I used to have a Suunto K16 compass that I really liked. The card was green and red, and it had a movable bezel. (It was a tactical racing compass.) These are no longer on the market. Does anyone know where I can get one? Or, if not, what is the nicest deck compass you're aware of. The best thing I can think of on the current market is Ritchie's Kayaker (also with movable bezel). Does anyone know of anything better than that? Partly this is an appearance issue. Most compasses point north, but some do it with more style than others. I liked the low profile, the styling, and the colors of the Suunto K16. It was a handsome thing. I sold my boat that it was mounted in, and the guy I sold the boat to wouldn't accept the boat with another new compass substituted in its place! We were fighting over the compass!
