"low density" foam

I've seen whitewater boats outfitted with a combination of white "low density" foam and minicell. The white stuff is used for pillars and thigh braces where you don't need something super hard, then minicell is used for the kness, butt etc. Does anyone know what product this is, since minicell is so expensive?
