Thanks for the info, I think I'll give it a try. I was a little confused with some of the info on your web page though...are we still talking about kayak paddles here???

:Notice that I increased my strip sizes from those shown to give me an overall paddle shaft size of about 1 1/8" x 1 3/8".
The sizes shown are for a shaft sized for my wife, which I laid up the next day.

: It's a great way to make a light, stiff shaft.
