I ordered some glass from Raka and forgot to tell them to roll it. As soon as I got the box of goodies, I unfolded the glass and rolled it. I did notice that the 6oz glass had no creases in it but the 4oz glass already was creased. So the point of my story if you forget to request to have it rolled do it as soon as soon as you get it home.

: Hi Mike,
: On my first boat (17' Guillemot) I bought 27 yards of 38" wide 6 oz.
: cloth and had a little left for the second boat (I think about 3 yds.). I
: bought 27 and cut it diagonal as Nicks shows in the book just to be safe.
: As far as the tape I bought 12 yds of 1" and 24 yds of 2" and
: had just enough to tape the cheek plates. On my second boat I bought the
: same amount of tape and 20 yds. of 50" 5.5 oz glass I cut diagonal
: and had a bunch left over for the third boat. Hamilton Marine has 50"
: glass for $2.99/yd if your still shopping.

: BTW make sure who ever you buy from that they roll it and don't fold.
