In the past, I have wanted to protect some metal items from salt water corrosion (e.g., I was once going to mount a malleable sheet metal "trim tab" on rear of boat). The other day, I saw a product called "Instant Galvanize" (or something close to that) at Walmart. It is a spray on product. Never heard of this before. Has anyone used it or know if it would actually work for protecting a nonstainless steel metal part from corrosion?
