Strong Back Disaster

Well, we finshed the first of a pair of strongbacks intended to loft the forms of my Razor Billed Awk and my friend's Night Herin. However, what we discovered is that Nick didn't mean to "use at least 1/2 in" stock of partical board to build the strond back, because when we turned it over, the very first time, it broke right in the middle. Ouch! Back to the drawing board ...

The good news is that is wasn't supporting anything and other than about $10 in partical board the set back has been only in time :^)

Going to get some ply-wood now ...
