I noticed the posts about someone wanting free plans and agree that the designers should get paid for thier hard work. But if you want cheap plans look in Canoe and Kayak Magazine, they sell several different sets at $8.99. Having never seen any other plans I don't know how they compare.I purchased the chinook plans as well as the tandem canoe plans. As for thier how to books, I suggest purchasing a more detailed book, I have since read Ted Moores - Kayakcraft, and plan on getting Nicks book soon. As for the plans, Has any one seen them and how do they compare.Like I said I have not seen any others to compare them with although I don't think I'll have any problem using them if I decide to buid either design.
