Get the idea you were missed last weekend? I had a chance to share some Maker's Mark and peanuts on the porch of the Inn with a couple of fellow New Yorkers - Cris Casazza and Jack ??, a skin on frame guy from NYC. I was looking forward to seeing how your patch job came out.

Like yourself I was hoping to have a couple of S&Gs done then do some strippers. Got one done and mine is at the hull stage. Overtime at work will push completion of that one out to Dec. or later. Getting a stripper done for the next Rendezvous is going to be a push. Damn this day job is putting a serious kink in my hobbie!

By the way, the Merganzer came out Great. Nice touches on the combing and tattoo. I'm sure the Mrs. must be very pleased. Mine was mildly miffed that I was letting strangers test paddle her new boat! Hell, probably 10 people tried out her new Whetstone paddle before she got to yesterday. I don't think she realizes that though.
