Is there such a thing as an off-the-shelf spray skirt ring. I see nice, black plastic (ABS?) ones on production boats and wonder if such a thing is available to home builders. I also used a river kayak the other day and it had fabulous plastic backed thigh pads that fit very well and felt very solid. Looked like the same manufacturer but there was no identification on either.

I'm mentally working on a fiberglass kayak design and was hoping to avoid making molds for the spray skirt ring.
