: I was wondering if anyone had used teak 1/8 plywood for a stitch and glue
: kayak. I have heard of problems with epoxy adhesion. This is teak faced
: with mahogany backed.Ive searched the archives and cant find any info.

I have used teak in the past and have had good luck using acetone to wipe the area to be glued. It will take sometime for the oil to surface, and by that time the epoxy would be set. I've never used teak plywood. If possible a test piece would be the way to go.
