Even though you inlaid, I think you're pointing the way in which these boats can be a little more attractive. Instead of the joints always being at 90deg and/or at the ctrline etc., with the use of separator pieces and diagonal or curving splices one has all of a sudden brought visual interest, movement and possible consistent grain into this field. We were posting on some of these possibilities some time ago but you're paving the way.
