I asked some questions about this peel-ply in the past.

It's supposed to be some kind of sheet form material that you lay on the glass cloth after wetting it (the glass cloth) with epoxy. at some stage of the cure, I believe during the "green" stage, you remove the peel-ply, or should I say, you peel it.

the purpose of it is to absorb any excess epoxy, & make the glass cloth sink down to the wood, & not float on the epoxy. so you don't have a layer of epoxy that you need to sand. it also makes everything more efficient - less epoxy/weight, more strength.

I don't really know if it's too good to be true, I only know it's more $$$ .

: As an aside; These guy's also manufacture epoxies-50% cheaper than the other
: stuff I've been using (International Epiglass), the guy said it was as
: good as anything on the market, but then he's being paid to say so.

I believe it would help if you will not keep the brand name of that 50% cheaper epoxy a secret, so we can enjoy it too, or maybe share with you our experience with that anonymus epoxy.
