Sqeegie your first epoxy coat on the glass to get the resin/glass level to a stronger more lightweight level - don't starve the cloth though.
Think about multiple lighter weight glass layers rather than 1 heavy one.
Use a pastry bag for the fillets. Also mask them.
Remove wires after filleting.

PS. congrats on picking a neat design. I saw them at the Wooden Boat show and think they are very pretty. Quite narrow though right??
