Source of wood for strip building in UK

I have recently succeeded in obtaining Western Red Cedar in Sunderland Tyne & Wear. This was after a considerable search. Is anyone aware of other sources of suitable timber in the UK? Alternative wood would probably enhance the kayak I am trying to construct.
