Actually, Tony is over 40. I have build a few skin on frame and one S&G yaks before. Most in my college days when I was a lot bolder and poorer. My first one start after someone discribed in words how to build a yak and the general dimensional rule -- 3 arm length and hip wide plus 2 fists... something like that. I was a lot skinnier back 25 years ago, and so was the boat. That was scary. I also help a couple of friends on their strip build canoes. I was not a lefty, by the way, but I can write with both hands. The writing just come different -- like from 2 different people. Cannot explain that.
