In Response To: addisn a hatch (dave)

: Hi Folks,

: I own a small, 10' recreation Kayak, named the "Experience", made
: by Walden Kayaks.

: It's made from Recycled plastic.

: I would love to put a 9, 10 or 12' hatch in the back, to have easy access to
: other wise , unused space.

: Would anyone know if there is such a thing, as a "add on hatch
: kit"? I like the idea, of being able to add one on. It does not need
: to be a bulk head, or water tight. Simple an easy way to store stuff in
: back.

: If anyone has any ideas, thoughts or suggestions in the matter, could you
: email me directly?

: Thanks much!

Cutting that big a hole in a plastic boat without renforcement may cause structural problem. Rotomold plastic boat is hard to glue anything onto. Any opinion, guys?
