Cut out the hatches yesterday. Now I have a thin white line around the hatch covers where the fiberglass has pulled up from the wood. About 1/16" wide in some spots. I thought that saturating the edges would make it disappear. No luck so far. Should I sand back the fiberglass? This would leave me with an uneven surface on the hatch covers. Any helpful suggestions would be appreciated.
