Hey John

That sounds unusual for a Ryobi product. If you have the receipt for it, take it back. They all vibrate some, but that sounds excessive and it isn't normal for Ryobi as they make a fairly good tool.

If you can, cut slivers of wood and insert them into the gaps and glue with whatever you have been using so far. It doesn't matter if it sticks out a bit so long as it gets down into the gap. Just sand it down later and I believe you will be much happier with the results. If need be, you can enlarge the gat just a smidgen to make it easier. Try it, you'll like it.
