: Dave Grimmer of Pygmy says that their Arctic Tern 14 kit is ready to ship.(As
: of yesterday nothing on their web site yet). If any neutral party has test
: paddled this boat yet, I'd like to hear their impressions.

Not many of these boats are out there yet. Several folks in our company have test paddled the boat, but I don't think this is the feedback you are looking for. We tinkered and tweaked with the boat for over a year before giving her the green light. So, here is an invitation to the right tester: Give me a call at our office (360) 385-6143 and I will set you up with the boat to take for an afternoon to go play. We are a short drive from Deception Pass in one direction and Salt Creek in another. Both areas provide challenging kayaking conditions. Takers on the invetation should have a wet suit or dry suit, rescue skills (preferably a bombproof roll) and a paddling partner. Oh, and the tester must give some feedback too all those interested.

I hope to get more information out on the web shortly, but I am up to my elbows in other stuff.

Dave
