Putting buckles on nylon webbing

Can anyone offer some advice on the (best) way to attach nylon webbing the permanent connection side of the plastic buckles. I could sew them but I don't have a sewing machine. If sewing is the only real option, I'll take them to a tailor.

Any other tricks with the nylon webbing would be appreciated.

An aside... To eliminate the possibility of water getting into the wood along the screws, I drilled 1/4" holes and filled them with epoxy. I will then drill into the epoxy for the final screw hole.

Lorne.
