Nope, just another guy with an opinion who thought he'd have fun by initiating a wee rant. Not much different from your one-liner posts.

And I suppose you are a great boat designer. Then why do you post free plans for a kayak without even a hint as to the boat's handling characteristics, save what can be interpreted from the form profiles? When the real kayak designers make plans available, even free ones, they will tell you quite openly what kind of characteristics they tried to design into the kayak. I am as skeptical of your I'm-not-saying-anything-about-this-design-but-feel-free-to-build-it plans as you would be if I spent an hour sketching some curves and posting them as 'free plans.'
