Strip problem

I'm currently building a Guillemot. I've got about 5 strips including the shear on the hull (both sides). The strips are fair and flow relatively well along the forms until they reach the end forms. I'm having to torque the strips before the end forms to get them to attach to the bevel correctly. Basically I put a staple in the last form on the strongback before the end forms then I have to torque the strip to hit the bevel correctly which in turn pulls out the staple I put in. I was very meticulous drawing up the forms, but it seems like the strips are getting more and more difficult to attach to the end forms. Any suggestions would be helpful.
