We just bought a new house and I am looking for a tried and true design for a structure that will be free standing and hold 3-4 canoes/kayaks in their horizontal position.. Our space restrictions require that these boats be one above the other and not beside one another..

Any suggestions as to design, materials or construction tips would be appreciated..
