In Response To: substitute for fairing filler (Tom Kurth)

: Help! I've run out of fairing filler--have been using West System 407.
: Closest place to get any is 60 miles. Can't get there till this weekend.
: Is my memory right, can baking flour be used for an easily sanded filler?
: Got the urge to build--must find substitute. Thanks, Tom

Mix some saw dust and a little bit of wheat flour into the epoxy. The flour is to lighten the colour of saw dust in epoxy. How much depends on your eyes, so go slow mix. If you overshoot, just add more saw dust. Good luck!
