You can also get them at Hardwick's at 4214 Roosevelt Way NE in Seattle, which is in the U District. They have them in two sizes, 8" as shown, or a 10", I think. For some reason, the 8" model, at $18 or so, was a couple bucks more than the larger size. You might also try McLendon's in Renton.

Having said that, and I have used these for a couple of boats, I have come to prefer instead the other kind of pliers shown. They are a short (4.5") pair of spring-open pliers with squared-off tips with smooth-faced jaws. The spring makes them easier to hold and manipulate. The wide square tips allow an easier grab, as opposed to the safety tie pliers' tapered tip. The smooth jaws allow for better modulation of your force resulting in fewer broken wires.

In any event, Hardwick's is worth the trip just to look around. They carry a lot of cabinet scrapers, Japanese saws and more esoteric things we find handy.
