Even though I'm catholic, I've decided to fight against my bad luck (which some cientists would call just inexperience) with every single weapon I could get.

This saturday, when I was wet sanding in the sidewalk the goo of uncured epoxy up to the bare wood, a guy offered me a string of garlic. I bought it, of course!

The temperature keeps going down and down here (it's winter in South America) and I strongly needed some electricity to warm my epoxy coatings. The epoxy I buy here doesn't cure below the 80's...

Forgive me, Julie, 'cause I've sinned... I took some "borrowed" electricity from the wired pole and fed a couple of hair dryers in order to warm the coatings. It worked!!

Although I couldn't take away the whitish goo that was left in the wood pores, the deck looks almost like the pretty ones that you, people, post.

Thank you very much for your support. Without your help, the deck would now be part of my Sunday barbecue.
