Well, here it is, our first cedar strip boat. It is a Puddleduck built from Gil Gilpatrick's book. Like many others here, Charley and I knew, half way through building this boat, that it would not be our last. I can't tell you how many times we said "on the next boat, we'll do that this way..."

It is amazing how even with all the mistakes that we made, the boat looks beautiful, and never fails to get attention where ever it goes. Is this a great (hobbie, passion, addiction...) or what!

Without further delay, here are the pics of boat #1. I will post photos of the Rob Roy (boat #2) as soon as I can.
