Thanks, guys. Hey Mike, On your plywood Walrus, did you use a keel? Any details would be helpful. What I'm running into is that as the plywood twists from nearly vertical to nearly flat, the surface to which a keel would attach narrows so that forming a keel would be a real test of woodworking skills--I'd rather get on the water sooner instead of spending all spring and summer building the damn boat. My thought is that with FG tape over the bottom joint that a keel is unnecessary as a protective measure and I'm guessing that the basic design will track well enough without one. Thanks, Tom
