: Hi Charles, I measured the unscarfed panels, and they correspond with the
: plans exactly(allowing for scarf). The only way I can get that 3/4"
: is by measuring across the panel stern/top to bow/bottom point. Call the

Thanks for all the suggestions from the people on both the CLC and Guillemot boards... I cross posted the other evening because I wanted to increase my chances of getting someone on a Sunday night...

Anyway, it appears that I was reading the plans from the final station to top of the sheer line, rather than to the end of the chine... I gotta get more light in the garage! If you had the plans in front of you it would make sense, honest.

When I placed the panels on the CORRECT lines on the bench, the scarfs lined up much better!

As I glued it together, the panels are just a bit out but it's nothing that a couple of passes with a plane won't cure later on.

I hope the tent I built in the garage (over the scarfs) does it's job. I placed a 40W light bulb in there to keep the temperature up. It's going down to 4 degrees (39 F) tonight. The kit came with slow hardener and I figure that at < 40F, it would take an irritatingly long time to cure!

Once again, thanks to all.
