Geez, I never thought of also using that cutout as a hatch, but your idea may have some merit! Actually, it is simply the continuation of my deck design, which I had s e r i o u s doubts about completeting when I saw the finished deck stripping. I learned so much from my mistakes on the hull, the deck turned out near perfect - - And my plan called for cutting it up ala Joe Greenley's wonderous creations . . . Well, I was committed to the pattern, so here is the first cut, I guess now I'm REALLY committed!
