: Hi all,

: A little off key from Kayak building, but here is the question. Has anyone
: seen anywhere on the web that sells blocks, or sheets of flotation foam. I
: am involved in helping a friend redo a welded aluminum boat.

: From what I understand, the yellow urethane foam is more resistant to oil and
: gasoline than the white styrene foam, but the white styrene foam
: apparently absorbs less water and is better for general floatation. I
: would be interested in either..

What you are asking for may be the 2 parts pour in place urathane foam. Home Depot stock those -- usually in the paint section. Just ask for marine product or fibreglass area. Good luck.
