: I guess I should be more specific too. I have been paddling a 12' aquaterra
: for over a year. It weighs an almight ton and is slow as a brick but it
: was a nice stable kayak to learn to paddle in. I am looking for a
: lightweight sea or touring kayak.

Roger, If you give the folks here an approx. size, as in Height, weight, shoe size, and then anything that you can say as to where you will be using your boat, Ocean, river, lake, and what you like to do, as in day trips, or camping or surfing ???? I believe they can narrow your choices down to about two or three different designs. There's a lot of "Stuff" out there and can be an overwhelming task checking it all out. Since about everything out there has been represented by one or more of the posters on this board, you can get a lot of info on any boat you would be interested in. They can have you out and paddling a new boat in no time. Give them some info to work with and you're off and running..........:)
