I built a Coho last year and used Rob Macks' seat plan. As laid out in the plans, it was too wide to fit between the hip braces. I also used a back band, so that I didn't need the extra foam on the rear of the seat to support Rob's back rest. I'm at work, so I can't measure, but I believe that mine is about 18" wide and 19" long. It's extremely comfortable.
