The Little Kayak Book is back in print - thanks to popular demand, mostly from people on this BBS. It's available from the Canadian Recreational Canoe Association and their web site is at www.crca.ca

This set of books is not a building instruction manual but contains fairly detailed specs for a dozen or so different traditional kayaks. If one was already familiar with building techniques it could probably be used to reconstruct some of these traditional boats.
