In Response To: Timely varnish question! (Lew Crenshaw)

: I just put a coat of varnish on my fiancee's Guillemot. The instructions say
: it dries to the touch the in 2 hours and can be sanded in 18. Can I skip
: the sanding part (and some time) by adding another coat in the next couple
: of hours? Thanks in advance for your help..

it really depends on the type of varnish you are using... if the varnish is hard to the touch it should be alright... but if it is at all tacky you could mess things up pretty badly...
