I'm using the "thermarest" pad supplied by pygmy with their kits. I find it more comfortable then I anticipated, but it's my personal preference. others didn't find it comfortable. no 3 butts alike. 8-)

advantages: it's low low low, so c.g. stays low.

disadvantages: no hip braces ! go make your own.

another advantage: it floats, so if you write your name on it, they will know where to look for the alligator that got you.

can't get out of the alligator thing. I printed the (ex) golfer image at work. everybody loved it. 8-)
