I was cruising the archive looking for seat info when I came across an old post looking for syringe needles. Most model/hobby shops have modified needles that don't have a point on them. If you need to poke through the glass or something it's easy enough to grind a suitable tip, but I doubt it would puncture a vein very cleanly.
