1) Adhesive backed and 2) Non-adhesive

I though this might be a way of securing paddle floats, cockpit pump, seats, navigation lights, you name it to the hull or cockpit ... has anyone tried this? I wasn't sure if the adhesive backed stuff would be compatible with epoxy and/or varnish, and I'm not sure about mounting the other ... when I mentioned that the application was for a Stich and Glue kayak, she replied that I could stitch on the non-adhesive velcro!
