In Response To: Rub it in, rub it in. (Dale Frolander)

Hi Dale, Good Idea;

We were taught to always apply varnish with a rag, why not epoxy? I switched to a roller yesterday, used about 11oz total to cover the hull, and thought I had really stretched the epoxy and put it on thin. It leveled out real nice and I went away. When I came back to it, the inevitable runs were right back. I figured I'd have to flip the hull either with the final sanding done (I'd prefer to wait until I was through with the deck) or visible runs showing. Ugh!

When I sand again today, I'll finish off with "the rag" and perhaps get on with the flipping. Thanks for the idea.

Best Regards, Spidey
