Hi Jason;

Glad it worked out for you! The only reason I use the heat gun is to speed things up. Seems like if I cook it with hot air after steaming, I can almost immediately unclamp and the wood stays "locked" in that position. Did you ever notice the strong cedar aroma that comes off the wood while steaming? 8-)
