I did check out the REI in Roseville, MN. They suggested I NOT use climbing rope and instead use a polyester rope( I think ), because this kind of rope would not expand when wet. The stores they suggested either did not carry the item or were out of stock and I didn't have much luck searching on the West marine web site. I thought the probem was I didn't know the proper term to use when searching for line decking. Guess I will go back to REI and buy some climbing rope.
