Actually it worked quite well. The strips curve nicely in that area. With the middle form being used twice either it was going to be flat in that area or have a slight bow. The bending of the strips means that it should/does have a slight bow in that area.

That's for sure. I was going to add cheek plates in his area, but it would have cut into my cargo space for camping. The sleeping bags would fit nicely in there. Now I just got to find a babysitter. :-)
