Thanks to all you KBB folks,

I was within days of purchasing a plastic rotomolded kayak. You people make kayak building seem like such a great experience that I've just finished re-arranging the garage and it's now a garage/kayak workshop. I'm thinking I'll start with a stich and glue so I'll have a boat ready for summer. Then if the building experience is as great as you say, a stripper over the winter next year. I'm 6'2" 235lbs and will be paddling in big water with a good chance of big wind and waves. Mostly 3-4 day trips with a couple of 1-2 week trips. Any suggestions for boat plans that will accomodate someone my size with type of trips I have in mind. I've been looking at different models on the web but would appreciate the advice any of you have to offer.
