Certainly Wood has a number of 1/16" veneers, including Ash. I bought a "boat load" of their ash veneer for the coaming on my Panache, and I had so much left over I used it on the Guillemot, and two sets of roof rack cradles, Wee Lassie II stems, and I still have some left. The veneer came in random widths (8" - 10") and around 8' lengths all rolled-up and shipped in a relatively small box. Check their website http://www.certainlywood.com and look for the "Special Thickness Veneers".
