Johnnie,

That is the glue that 'Dynomite' Payson uses (instead of epoxy) on his instant boats. I've heard that it works great but can not be truly considered waterproof, because it breaks down when you boil it. As long as you don't plan on paddling in boiling water you should have no problems.
