Hi Mark;

I had a similar problem when my ply bow stem warped 1/8" or so. Since I didn't want to rip off everything I had already done, I compensated by building 1/8" away from the other side of the form. This made the bow strips join an inch or so further than the end of the stem.

It was not a problem, it just made it harder to determine exactly where to bevel the strips, without the stem as an absolute reference. The stem turned out fine, fortunately. If you feel you can safely cut and reglue, that may be the way to go - - Otherwise you'll just have to extrapolate where the strips should meet as you move up the stem..

Best Regards, Spidey
