> Tim. I'M ABOUT TO PAINT A WOOD KAYAK THAT I USED SYSTEMS THREE EPOXY TO BUILD(just sanding it now) I DID SOME TEST PANELS WITH SOME CLOVERDALE PAINT PRODUCTS TO SEE HOW, OR IF, THEY WOULD ADHERE. TRYED MARINE URETHANE RE-INFORCED ENAMEL, 2 PART CLOVA COAT POLY-URETHANE INDUSTRIAL PAINT, FIBRE GLASS GEL COAT AND A 2 PART EPOXY PAINT CALLED CLOVA-THANE. THE LAST WAS BEST , HAS A WET GLOSSY LOOK AND IS VERY ULTRA-VIOLET RAY RESISTANT. IT IS USED ON AIRCRAFT, AMONG OTHER THINGS. MIND YOU I DON'T HAVE IT ON THE BOAT YET SO DON'T KNOW HOW IT'S GOING TO LOOK. IT CAN ALSO BE USED WITH AN EPOXY UNDERCOAT THAT WILL HIDE SOME OF THE IMPERFECTIONS IN THE SANDING JOB. WE'LL SEE, HUH? GOOD LUCK WITH YOUR PROJECT. TOM
