Hi mick;

Ahah! Another way to mark the strip. That is a good idea, I will try it tomorrow. The strips are getting easier in that the angle is getting larger and the fitup surfaces are getting shorter as I proceed. It was primarily those 18"+ tapers that took forever. That is another "benefit" of smooth, low rocker lines . . . Things happen verrrry gradually. I guess the impending deck should bring me more of the same depending on the design I come up with.

BTW - I like your novel ideas of accomplishing an end - - I've read a fair amount of the archive and you always have innovative ideas. There are 2 kinds of engineers, in a very general sense. Those that plod through the numbers and do it classically, and those that leapfrog and find a simpler way to do the same thing. You (and Nick) belong to the latter group IMHO . . . ;-)
